Words taking different roles..

Every single person have multiple roles in everyone's life. The same person is a son to his parents, grandson to his grandparents, son-in-law to his uncle and so on, it's based on the relations which he/she have. Similarly words also takes gifferent forms.

A same word may be used as a noun in one context, verb in other context and so on. Words acts as a noun, verb, adverb and so on depending upon the context. Here are few examples for words which takes different forms according to the situations.

1. Back:

Back as a noun:

   He hit his back.(here back is a "part of human body")

Back as a verb:

   The College backs its efficient students.(here back means "to support")

Back as an adverb:

   He is back from his tour.(here back means "to return")

2. Leave:

Leave as a noun:

The Company granted him leave.(here leave means "day off")

Leave as a verb:

She will leave the class once the period is over.(here leave means "get moving")

3. Slow:

Slow as an adverb:

The film moves slow in its screenplay.(here slow indicates "the low speed")

Slow as an adjective:

He is a slow learner.(here slow indicates "the progress is normal than expected")

4. Post:

Post as a noun:

He occupies a strong post in his company.(here post means "the position")

Post as a verb:

He want to post his letter.(here post means "to transit")

5. Project:

Project as a noun:

The project is submitted.(here project means "work/activity")

Project as a verb:

Anchors have to learn to project their voices.(here project means "to raise the voice")
